Big Harvest

It was time to gather all the almonds today.  I picked 2 ice cream buckets of the peach-like fruits, split them and set out the almonds to dry for a few days. There may be enough for one batch of almond toffee.

    Yum! Pretty exciting being able to harvest food from your own yard, even if it takes a few years for these things to really get established.

    In other news, I need to visit your blog more often, so I'm not always the last one to see this stuff. ;)
